Canada (Quebec) - Millésime 2010: Quel beau vin blanc!

Vintage 2011 - GERMANY

Vintage 2012 - USA A solid white that’s a blend of Grenache, Clairette, Roussanne and Bourboulenc, the 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape Domaine du Vieux Lazaret Blanc offers up plenty of quince, honeysuckle and melon, with a rich, textured, yet fresh profile. Drink it over the coming couple of years. Drink now-2015.

VINTAGE 2012: Nose is open and very fruity. You can find peach, apricot, ripe melon and red apple - also some citric notes. Taste repeats the style of the nose and the mouthfeel is very rich. You can find sweet spiciness and light creaminess in this almost sweet wine that has exotic fruits on the palate. Rich body gets liveliness from floral aromas and citric acidity. Aftertaste is long and warm. Food match: white meat and fatty red fish.

USA - 2012 - Subtle smoky notes add complexity to this ripe, full-bodied wine (the Roussanne component is aged in barrel). Combine that with Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Bourboulenc and the results come together in a whirl of honey, pineapple and citrus that is long, crisp and mouthwatering on the finish.

vintage 2015 - fine yellow robe. The nose leads on a lime aroma with a touch of infused tea, varnish. The palate has fine salty qualities, expresses mild white fruits, white plum notably. There is a small grip as it ends. Very orderly, charming white Châteauneuf. 2022-23 Sept 2016

USA - Vintage 2014

vintage 16: Pristine white grapefruit, apple and pear flavours abound in this understated but silken blend [...]. Dry and full bodied yet freshly composed, it is enjoyable now for its youthfulness but sould developp mineral and savory intensity with time.

vintage 2015: Vibrant whiffs of orange blossom & lemon peel are offset by savory bramble and earth notes in this dry, full-bodied white blend. Its juicy lemon & tangerine flavors are edged by salty, saline complexities that are just starting to develop is rich and textural, with a fresh, lingering finish. Hold until 2021

USA - VINTAGE 2016 The 2016 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc Domaine du Vieux Lazaret is a traditionally styled wine made almost entirely in steel or concrete. Only the Roussanne is barrel fermented, but it does impart some honeyed richness to the otherwise neutral, citrusy blend. It's full-bodied and round in the mouth, with attractive tangerine and lime notes and a bright, refreshing finish. It should drink well for a couple of years.

USA - VINTAGE : 2016 Light bright yellow. Lush and expansive on the nose, displaying pear and peach nectar, honey and orange zest aromas and a hint of sweet butter. Gently sweet and pliant in texture, offering juicy orchard and pit fruit flavors that tighten up slowly on the back half. A late jolt of candied ginger adds spicy bite to the finish, which hangs on with very good tenacity.

Vintage 2016 - 92 POINTS - The nose is elegant, fine, racy and offers a very fine power. It reveals notes of quince, small yellow fruits/yellow plum associated with touches of brugnon, apple, quenette as well as very discreet hints of zest and flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly "perlante" (discreetly sparkling) and offers a good definition, a small tension, power, a slight richness, a beautiful crystalline minerality, a good structure as well as a beautifully fine and very slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of Williams pear, ripe brugnon and small notes of quince, crunchy physalis, yellow plum as well as a very discreet hint beeswax and a toasted/nutmeg. Good length.

VINTAGE 2014 - 91 POINTS - A kiss of honey extends from nose to finish, accenting fresh apple and grapefruit flavors in this plush, full-bodied white. It's brawny and expansive on the palate, but sunny lemon acidity cuts through the fat, adding freshness to a lingering finish.

VINTAGE 2012 - 92 POINTS - Subtle smoky notes add complexity to this ripe, full-bodied wine (the Roussanne component is aged in barrel). Combine that with Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Bourboulenc and the results come together in a whirl of honey, pineapple and citrus that is long, crisp and mouthwatering on the finish. Drink now - 2020.

2017 VINTAGE - 91 POINTS - Star fruit, Key lime and white peach flavors race through in this bright, detailed white, backed by a light lemon shortbread note on the finish. Grenache blanc, Clairette, Bourboulenc and Roussanne. Drink now through 2022.

VINTAGE 2017 - 91 POINTS - This has some bold, ripe-apple and lemon flavors with a stony and smooth-honed feel to the palate. Drink or hold.
